This tour will bring you to two of the world’s most impressive and unforgettable wonders: Petra and Wadi Rum. You will discover Petra with a local guide that will guide you around the astonishing ruins carved out of the red sandstone rock by the Nabateans. In Wadi Rum, you will participate in a jeep safari tour led by a local Bedouin and experience the magic of the “valley of the moon”, one of the most spectacular desert landscapes on earth. At the end of the tour, you will overnight and relax at the Dead Sea.

Itinerary

Day 1, Arrival/ Amman/ Petra

Upon arrival, a member of our staff will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to hotel in Petra. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2, Petra

Breakfast. We will start our journey to explore Petra, aptly described as the “rose-red city, half as old as time”. The ancient city was founded by the Nabateans 2000 years ago. Its massive architectural structure and its multicolored stones are an incredible attraction. The visit of the ancient Nabatean capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs. Towards the end of the Siq, you will be spellbound by Petra’s most famous monument; the Treasury. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3, Petra/ Wadi Rum/ Amman

Breakfast. Transfer south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. Jeep Tour inside the Wadi. Transfer back to Amman. Overnight at hotel.

  • Meet and assist upon arrival to airport by our representatives

  • Transfer as per above itinerary in a private modern air-conditioned large sized car with an English speaking driver( car is not at disposal after the day tour ends, your driver is not a guide)
  • Accommodation at hotels on BB basis (Bed & Breakfast).
  • Optional short horse ride in Petra. (Please note that the horse handler expects a tip if you do take the horse ride)
  • Private tour of Petra with a local guide (tour length is 2 hours, and covers the lower parts of Petra).
  • Tour inside the desert of Wadi Rum in a 4×4 vehicle for 3 hours.
  • Entrance fees to all sites as per the above itinerary.
